The Texas Office of the Center for Strong Public Schools is committed to ensuring every Texas student- especially black, brown, and low-income students- has access to a high quality public education, regardless of background and zip code. Through policy research, coalition-building, and strategic advocacy, we develop and advance student-centered, evidence-based, and innovative policies that can transform the public education system to best serve all students.
Our goal is to ensure that every Texas public school student is served in an effective, supportive, and accountable classroom that prepares them for a fulfilling life beyond graduation.
We work with the following organizations and many more informal collaborations around early childhood education, assessment and accountability, and the teacher workforce.
